Our outstanding and fully qualified instructors, both external specialists and our in-house team, deliver our fitness classes. Our small class sizes ensure that each member gets the most out of the class.
Our studio-based group classes are designed to push you to achieve your fitness goals without being too hard, overwhelming, or easy! The various classes available here allow us to cater to all interests, goals and abilities, designed to help you perform at your best.
Group exercise is incredibly beneficial when striving to achieve fitness goals. The team atmosphere is a brilliant motivation to push yourself safely further whilst under the watchful eye of an instructor. It’s also a great way to get your workout in without thinking or planning anything yourself: it’s all planned for you!
Most importantly, group exercise allows you to make friends with like-minded individuals within the class, which can help keep your adherence to a healthier lifestyle and keep you on track to achieve your fitness potential.
HARROGATE EXERCISE CLASSES TO SUIT YOUR TIMETABLE
The fixed timing of our exercise classes means they can be less time-consuming than doing your own full gym session. This makes them ideal for workers looking for lunchtime fitness and all gym-goers who are pushed for time. Our early morning classes are perfect for the early birds wanting to work out before heading to work!
Working out shouldn’t be a burden on your schedule. Therefore, a 30-minute class might be the solution to keeping the balance when a general trip to the gym might not work for you. Our classes are quick and effective, providing great fitness benefits without wasting too much time!
Beckwith gym classes are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes long. Please check the timetable for details.
Don’t forget that two rounds of the EGYM circuit, available anytime, take approximately 30 minutes: another quick and effective way to fit in a workout!

All our timetabled classes are free to members of Beckwith Health Club and £9.50 for non-members.
Abs Blast
This class is all about the core muscles! Low intensity, but high burn!
Beckwith ROX
Inspired by the popular Hyrox Endurance events!
Improve your stamina and strength endurance.
CIRCUITS
These functional based classes test your strength, endurance, co-ordination and agility providing you with the perfect full-body workout.
H.I.I.T
A form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery.
Lift ITT
The Lift-IIT experience will incorporate basic strength training exercises with barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and bands, intermingled with short HIIT-type cardio bursts.
PILATES
These classes are based on core stability with particular emphasis on strengthening the abdominals to support the spine in everyday activity.
PiYo
A dynamic full-body workout, mixing essences of yoga, pilates & HIIT! Not to be missed!
POWER KETTLE BELLS
A workout using one piece of equipment: Kettlebells. It works every muscle in your body, increases strength and improves your cardiovascular fitness.
SOULfusion
The SOULfusion experience includes short cardio bursts, yoga-inspired flows, balance sequences, body weight and weighted strength training exercises, choreographed to awesome music.
SOUL KickBoxing

SOUL KickBoxing is a fusion style class that features classic kickboxing combinations, bodyweight strength training movements as well as athletic and dance-inspired cardio, and core-focused balance sequences.
SPIN
Intense indoor spin cycling classes focusing on endurance, strength and recovery without putting pressure on your knees and joints.

Teen Academy
Teen Academy is a training workshop for teen members designed to educate and introduce correct training methods.
WARRIOR FIT
A high-intensity, full-body workout aimed at improving strength and endurance. This 45min class is suitable for all levels, with alternative options available throughout.
YOGA
Yoga is a complete mind and body workout combining strength exercises with stretching to help you de-stress your mind!
