Beckwith Rox, a “Hyrox Style” Event

On Sunday, February 1st, Beckwith Gym ran its first “Hyrox Style” training event.

Becky and Fern did an awesome job organising everything and keeping the teams motivated throughout

Every two-person team put in maximum effort and was a sight to behold! Well done to everyone for taking part and supporting our first event of this kind. We can’t wait for the next event!

Push your fitness to the max with our Indoor Functional Movement Race — a high‑energy circuit designed to challenge your strength, endurance, and grit.

You’ll take on a full spectrum of functional movements, including sled push/pull, Ski Erg, burpee broad jumps, walking lunges, farmers carry, rowing, and running. It’s fast, fun, and guaranteed to leave you buzzing.

This free event will run across both gym floors, after hours, giving you uninterrupted access to the full space. To keep things flowing smoothly, we’ll allocate staggered start times in advance.

Partner up and complete the course together, pushing each other to hit your best possible time. Whether you’re competitive or just curious to see what you can do, this is your chance to test yourself in a supportive, high‑energy environment.

You must sign up as a pair (this event is open to members and non-members)

Choose between you how you split which exercises to execute

After registering, we will confirm your start time and team colour

The Goal isn’t to beat others, it’s to show up, do your best, and push yourself harder than before!
