Teen Academy is a training workshop for teen members designed to educate and introduce them to correct training methods and gym etiquette.
The workshops are split into 3 sections:
- 10 minutes covering the training methods involved in the 2nd part of the workshop. Creating an understanding and knowledge base for teens to build a foundation on, to then continue in the future in their own fitness endeavours.
- 30 minutes of physical training, putting the training methods into action from section 1, with emphasis on form and technique on muscles used.
- 5 minutes stretch and mobility section, where questions can also be asked, related to the workshop or on general fitness.
There will be two classes scheduled a week: one for beginners and one for advanced.
The Advanced class is reserved for those who have successfully received the Teen Academy Silver Award on their ClubRight profile.
To receive the Teen Academy Silver Award, you must attend the “Beginners” class until the instructor feels comfortable with your knowledge and abilities to move along to the “advanced” class.
On successful completion of this class, you will be awarded the Teen Academy Gold Award!
After that, you will be able to use the gym and classes with confidence.
Full body workout
A “beginners” knowledge of general fitness and training.
The workshop will be looking at a wide variety of equipment and understanding their benefits.
This class is perfect for teens, who are new to the Gym environment and fitness.
