Why did you become a Gym Instructor?
Having been raised in South Africa, when I was younger I was always on the sports field. My dreams of stardom, however, ended with a bad knee injury on the netball field, whilst competing for my Provincial Colours.
I didn’t give up and as soon as I could, I began competing in many endurance and strength events such as the Warrior Races.
This really gave me the motivation to become a physically stronger person and I started to attend a gym.
I’ve wanted to be a Personal Trainer for a long while. However, I was in the corporate world for 14 years and three wonderful children later, never quite found the time.
Nevertheless, I did not give up on my gym and in 2016 I managed a bronze medal in the IFBB Bodybuilding Bikini Competition.
In 2018 I arrived in the U.K. and found the time to continue my studies! I enjoy studying and love the people in the industry so much, I have now enrolled myself to do a nutrition course!
I do look forward to working with you… I am sure you, like me, want to keep healthy, stay strong, remain positive and in the end, be happy!
What do you do in your own training?
I like to specialise in leg, shoulder and back training!
Leg Press is my go-to exercise.
For the back, I like to concentrate on lat pulldowns and shoulders: bring it on!
I start to train my clients by doing HIIT training to build up their strength and endurance.
Favourite cheat meal?
I love Italian food and the Romance of Italy! Obviously with a good glass of South African red wine to accompany it!
What are your areas of expertise?
I enjoy helping clients who want to increase their strength, endurance and weight loss.
My enthusiasm, encouragement and motivation will help any client reach their goals.
I can help you if its 1:1 or an online training session.
Together we are a team and I will not leave you behind.
Together we are Stronger.
