DAN
FITNESS INSTRUCTOR, MASSAGE THERAPIST & TEAM LEADER
Why did you become a Fitness Instructor?
Upon completing my university degree in Sports Science and Injury Rehabilitation, I was excited to get into a health-related environment. Here I could immediately bring my expertise to people’s training. I had been an active gym member at Beckwith Health Club for many years. It has a super friendly atmosphere where I felt very comfortable and welcomed. I decided to jump headfirst into the fitness instructor and sports massage role and haven’t looked back!
I am passionate about improving injury knowledge, whether that is prevention or rehabilitation, so feel free to grab me for a chat!
What do you do in your own training?
Previously my training had focussed on weight loss and has helped me lose roughly 3 stone since finishing university. Currently, I am looking at strength building and thoroughly enjoy a good deadlift!
I am constantly training at Beckwith and if you fancy joining in, just ask.
Favourite cheat meal?
I don’t think you can go wrong with a pizza loaded with toppings: chicken and bacon with extra cheese is a personal favourite!
Definitely got to add a chocolate milkshake too!
