Why did you become a Personal Trainer?
My name is Janelle Belinda Yeates & I have enjoyed working in the Fitness Industry for 28 years.
However, it wasn’t all plain sailing… I was very shy & studious, never picked for the school teams.
One day, sitting at my office desk, it came to me…I needed to make some changes!
If I wanted to be a lifeguard & swimming coach, I needed to get on with it!… I was 30 years old & couldn’t swim, so I began adult lessons!
From that decision, I’ve never looked back.
What do you do in your own training?
I am busy working on my lifts again!
Have also done a lot of tough Mudder events to raise money for charity.
You will always find me dancing away to music as it keeps me motivated and cheerful!
What are your areas of expertise?
The gym is my family and we all have a common goal to achieve good physical & mental health.
It’s a privilege to help our members to work on their own fitness journeys.
I like to think my talents are diverse but if you ask me a question & I don’t know the answer, I will find someone who can!
I specialise in Muscle Hypertrophy & Strength & Conditioning training.
This led me to compete for the G.B.P.F. (Great Britain Powerlifting Federation).
My disciplines are: Squat; Bench Press & Deadlift at Divisional & National Level, wherein I gained two British Gold Medals much to my children’s delight!
I absolutely love group exercise as music & dance frees the soul! Be sure to book into one of my classes
: you’ll definitely feel better for it!
I strongly believe whether it’s my Spinning or Dance classes, you’ll come away energised & feeling good.
Confidence in life is built through learning in so many different ways. Beckwith Health Club is certainly a perfect place to expand your abilities in a friendly & professional atmosphere.
I look forward to meeting you.
