Whether you’re looking for a highly personalised experience with plenty of guidance, a workout space to have independence in, or perhaps somewhere in between, Beckwith Health Club is the place for you. We pride ourselves on building great relationships with each of our clients to help cater to their specific needs. This helps to build a friendly and positive environment that our clients love.

Our friendly gym has an extensive range of state-of-the-art equipment, including cardiovascular machines such as treadmills, cross trainers and bikes. Our Harrogate gym also has fixed resistance machines and a spacious free weights space and stretching areas, ideal for body weight and core training.

We expanded our original space to include a new area, which opened in 2018, effectively doubling our workout space. This area includes a range of functional equipment, including a Spartan rig, weight sledge, Stairmaster and a lifting area. This exciting space is perfect for those wanting to mix up their fitness routine and achieve new fitness goals.

With this big open space allowing us to bring in even more choices of gym kit for you, our instructors offer introductory classes to help new members familiarise themselves with the functional kit it holds. These classes will give you some Spartan rig workout inspiration and ensure you are comfortable with the new equipment, helping you use it safely and effectively.

In 2022 we added the phenomenal EGYM Smart Strength machines and Fitness Hub! This intuitive kit works as a circuit and continually pushes you forward without needing to remember setup, reps and weights: it all adjusts to your individual program when you approach!
