With 5 years of personal training under my belt, I’ve built a comprehensive Personal Training service using a three-point approach to support and promote your health choices. Mentality, Nutrition and Exercise hold the key to your fitness goals.

Whether you want Personal Training to lose body fat %, increase muscle mass or even for body biomechanics, the 3 Factors of Fitness are essential and I will guide you every step of the way!

Why did you become a Personal Trainer?

Growing up, I was quite shy and didn’t have much interest in sports or outdoor activities, I was very much a couch potato. It was only after being encouraged by a great friend to create a home, cast iron gym in my garage that things changed. We trained most days of the week, and I found my body responded quite dramatically, which only intensified my passion and my confidence exploded. My body changed physically and my mental health improved significantly. I felt like a new person!

Seeing the benefit of this healthy lifestyle, only pushed me further to pursue a career in personal health and well-being, something I really enjoyed. Eight years later, I still love the job and I’ve made many new friends along the way, with a wealth of knowledge to follow.  Working 1:1 with someone and seeing clients achieve their goals always makes my day, whether it’s just learning to do a pushup or the infamous pull-up.

What do you do in your own training?

There is nothing more satisfying than plugging in my headphones and throwing some free weights around. My “go to” exercise is the traditional deadlift, but a lot of my own training revolves around compound exercises. I notoriously hate cardio, and it will most likely be a “blue moon” if you see me do it!

What are your areas of expertise?

My ideal client is someone who would like to pursue a path of strength conditioning and/or hypertrophy training. They usually come hand in hand! I also dabble in high intensity, interval training for weight loss.

Hi, I’m Gee and I am a qualified personal trainer and sports therapist, with over 19 years of experience working with a wide spectrum of people encompassing everything from complete exercise beginners through to injury/post-op rehab clients.

I wasn’t born with good fitness/sporting genes, so it was my unhealthy lifestyle and bad food choices in my late teens and twenties, which eventually led me on a journey, to where I am today, doing what I do and enabling me to share my experiences and success stories, with you all!

Hi, I’m Crystal…

I have always believed that health and fitness are the true sources of happiness… So welcome to your fitness and your happiness journey!

Having been raised in South Africa, I dreamed of being a Sports Star when I was younger and was always on the Sports field. But my dreams of sports fame ended however with a bad knee injury sustained on the Netball Field, whilst competing for my Provincial Colours.

I never let this stop me and as soon as I could, I trained and began competing in endurance and strength events such as the Warrior Races. This really gave me the motivation to become a physically stronger person and that was when I started resistance-based gym training. That was over 20 years ago…

Despite always wanting to be a Personal Trainer, I detoured into the corporate world for 14 years and also had three wonderful children. As soon as I could, I was back in the gym and in 2016 managed to secure a bronze medal in the IFBB Bodybuilding Bikini Competition.

After relocating to Harrogate in 2019 I decided to choose Personal Training as my profession.

A job I love and cherish every day.

I am currently studying for my Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral as well as Nutrition. I believe these go hand in hand and am always available to offer advice on healthy eating plans.

I am sure you are like me you want to keep healthy, stay strong, remain positive and in the end, be happy!  This we can achieve together… So far, I have only ever had success with all my clients and no one has ever been left behind.

My specialities? They are in Legs, Shoulder and Back Training…  Leg Press is my go-to exercise, for the Back, I like concentrated Lat pull down.

But don’t be scared, training usually begins with us doing HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) to build up our strength and endurance.

I can honestly say, I have had real success helping clients who want to increase strength, endurance and weight loss.

I believe it is my Enthusiasm, Encouragement and Motivation that will help you reach your goals.

I can help with 1-2-1 training, online training or group sessions.

As for me, my favourites foods are Italian (and the Romance of Italy) and BBQ (or a Braai) with a good glass of South African Red wine from the Cape.

Together we are a Team of which you are going to be the star.
