We are very fortunate to be able to work with the following External Personal Trainers who come to Beckwith Health Club and hold various training sessions for you.
Steve Collins
With over fifteen years of experience as a self-employed Personal Trainer I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every client. My ultimate aim is to help my clients achieve their goals and make it enjoyable along the way.
I believe that quality is of the utmost importance, and I strive to deliver that into every training session. A combination of extensive industry knowledge and personal passion for what I do was the perfect platform for developing a career in personal training.
My Background involves playing for 2 professional football teams and competing in county level athletics across the 400m,1500m & 400m Relay

– 2nd overall in the Brownlee 5k Series
– Second place in the Leeds Sprint Triathlon
– Completed the London Marathon in 2:41
– Ironman Finisher in 2011

Jory Adamson
Jory is an experienced trainer with an excellent knowledge and skill base, dedicated to meeting client requirements in a professional goal-orientated manner.
He achieved an honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the Carnegie School of Sport, with a concentration in Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics and Nutrition. Jory has since worked at a number of different health clubs, in particular The Academy and has gained over 20 years of industry experience. During that time he has helped countless people achieve their health and fitness goals.
Jory has a real passion for learning and has gained an extensive range of industry qualifications. In particular he has studied with the renowned CHEK institute, achieving CHEK Practitioner Level 2 status, specialising in corrective exercise and holistic health and well being.
His training and experience allows him to work with a wide range of people. This includes anyone who has general health and fitness goals or that requires sports specific training to people suffering from a range of health complications, with a particular interest in injury management. Jory is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life by restoring movement and posture, using specific strengthening and corrective exercises and improving nutrition and lifestyle behaviour.
